WE THINK: This little quaint, old-timey bakery / cafe is famous for their baked goods and oysters which are exceedingly popular on Sundays when the Columbia Road flower market is on.  It is, however, far more enjoyable when the flower market is not on.  Come here on Fridays or Saturdays when Jones Dairy is open for brunch and lunch and enjoy very personal (and somewhat slow) service of delicious and wholesome home-cooked food. We had a very nice smoked haddock and some springy fresh mushrooms on toast, both accompanied by wonky-looking, delicious poached eggs. We also had one of the best blood orange juices we've ever had and some very naughty toasted fruit cake and hot cross buns (Happy Easter!). Add to that a lot of early Spring sunshine, outdoor seating in the tiny cobblestone street and only a handful of passersby and it doesn't get much better.
